EZ Construction Estimator Desktop

The desktop screen for EZ Construction Estimator is a very easy, uncluttered and intuitive user interface. All estimating functions occur from this single desktop. Special care was taken to assure that all screens work and act with the same behaviors. The screen print is shown below with the major areas highlighted.

A) This area of the screen shows what Estimates have been loaded. Since EZ Construction Estimator will allow multiple Estimates for a Customer to be linked together, this tree will show the Parent Estimate and all of the associated Child Estimates. Simply double-click on a specific Estimate to view the details. Also, maintenance buttons allow Adding, Changing, Copying or Searching for Estimates.

B) This is the Component and Assembly tree. If a Component or Assembly needs to be modified, simply double-click on the appropriate entry to have the maintenance screen appear. The User can also use the Locate and Locate Next buttons to find specific Components or Assemblies. Another feature filters Categories so that only specific Components and Assemblies are displayed. For example, if the User is estimating on the plumbing portion of an Estimate, only plumbing related Components and Assemblies are displayed in the tree. Maintenance buttons allow Components and Assemblies to be Added, Changed, Deleted or Copied.

C) This is the EZ Construction Estimator toolbar. Simply float the mouse over a button to see the functionality that the button performs. As new functionality is added, new buttons may be added to this area.
